Série New York #1
Cette série de peintures a été réalisée à New York, en 2014, où j’exposais pour la seconde fois. Sur place, j’ai réalisé des live painting. Le thème mis en avant est la ville de New York et son aspect urbain mêlant futurisme et tradition. La plupart des œuvres ont été peintes avec de l’acrylique, des encres, du Posca et des collages.
This series of paintings was done in New York in 2014, where I exhibited for the second time. On-site, I realized the live painting. The theme brought forward is the city of New York and its urban appearance combines futurism and tradition. Most of the works were painted with acrylic, inks, the Posca, and collages.
Série From New York to Paris
Cette série de peintures a été réalisée après un voyage à New York où j’exposais pour la seconde fois. Sur place, j’ai réalisé des live painting et l’idée m’est venue de récupérer des objets des papiers, des stickers et toutes sortes d’éléments ramassés dans la rue. De retour en France, j’ai peint plusieurs toiles en associant ces « petits instants de New York » avec mon imaginaire. Un personnage récurrent revient dans plusieurs toiles pour créer des correspondances. La plupart des œuvres ont été peintes avec de l’acrylique, des encres, du Posca et des collages.
This series of paintings was done after a trip to New York where I exhibited for the second time. On-site, I realized the live painting and the idea came to me to collect items, papers, stickers, and all kinds of elements found in the streets. Back in France, I painted several paintings by combining these « small moments of New York » with my imagination. A recurring character appears in several paintings to create matches. Most of the works were painted with acrylic, inks, the Posca, and collages.
